Hi there, I’m Gabrielle. I’m looking forward to getting to know each other!
Self-description in bio form is always an interesting endeavor. A few years ago a dear friend of mine introduced me as “a curator of connection” and that has stuck with me.
The driving force behind all I do is, in fact, connection. I feel inspired to not only seek it out, but to cultivate it for my friends, family, and community.
My educational background consists of a B.A. and M.S. in Documentary and Nonfiction Film. I currently work as a Video Producer at Indiana University.
I am fortunate to have been featured in university film festivals, awarded “Best of Indiana” by the Society of Professional Journalists, and nominated for an Emmy.
My passion for filmmaking however, extends beyond academia.
My goal is not only to create, but to curate content that uplifts, celebrates, and supports my community.
Bloomington is a special place. It is robust in arts, music, and community events. It is abundant in local businesses and nonprofits making positive change.
My services are unique due to my background, identity, and perspective.
I am a musician, a lover of the arts, a patron of many a local business.
I see and share your passion.
I am biracial, a woman, queer, a product of immigration.
These perspectives allow me to curate content that celebrates and resonates with our beautifully diverse community.
In our digital era, connection often coincides with media content that inspires people to come together, to create, and to do good.
I look forward to connecting with you.
